A growing network of national spelling bee organizations united by a shared mission to inspire literacy, academic excellence, and leadership across Africa.
The African Spelling Bee is powered by a vibrant community of national spelling bee organizations and education leaders from across the continent.
Each member country organizes spelling bee programs that nurture learners, promote reading culture, and identify outstanding young spellers who may go on to represent their nation at the African Spelling Bee Championship.
