Join a continental movement empowering millions of African children through literacy, education, leadership, and opportunity.
The African Spelling Bee believes that transforming Africa begins with investing in its children.
We work with educational organizations, literacy advocates, governments, NGOs, foundations, corporate partners, media organizations, and national spelling bee bodies to create opportunities that inspire young learners and strengthen educational outcomes across the continent.
Whether you want to establish a national spelling bee, sponsor a championship, support literacy initiatives, or contribute your expertise, we invite you to become part of our growing community.

Connect your organization with ambitious, talented, and high-achieving young learners across Africa.

Support literacy, education, leadership development, and youth empowerment initiatives that create lasting change.

Align your organization with one of Africa's leading educational and literacy movements.

Overall, it was a thrilling experience being part of the first 27 and the experience of the Spelling Bee was awesome as it was a big achievement to have been part of the first 4 on the first ever African Spelling Bee.
The AFRICAN SPELLING BEE was an amazing opportunity for me to meet new people and learn different languages like Shona, Amharic, Amarinya and Denisk ( Dennish).
